Day 1: Drive from Mwanza to Serengeti National Park via Ndabaka entrance gate

On this day African Diurnal Safaris guide will pick you in Mwanza Airport (MWZ) in the morning or Hotel in Mwanza town, drive for 2hrs from Mwanza to Serengeti National Park where you will experience small villages on your way to the Serengeti entrance gate called Ndabaka gate.

Enter in the park with a game viewing in western corridor through Grumeti River; this area is very famous for the resident’s migrants and other game animals. The Grumeti River the second biggest river in Serengeti with the abundance huge crocodiles as well as hippos can be seen on their pool all around the year, lion elephants, buffalo, leopard and cheetah. Proceed with the game viewing till evening and drive to the lodge/ camp.

Arrival at the lodge or camp in western corridor for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 & 3: Full days of game drive in Serengeti National Park

Another day exploring the Serengeti around the central and eastern side.

Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement $550 per adult). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of the Serengeti.

Do an after-breakfast game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The Visitor Centre close to the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive.

This nicely designed center offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. In the afternoon you will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attracts a number of lion and leopard.

Arrive on evening at the camp followed with a nice sunset view, dinner and overnight

Day 4: Drive from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart in the morning after breakfast around 7am with packed lunch for en route game viewing in Serengeti while on your way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the Maasai village for cultural interactions, afterward descend into the crater floor for game viewing in the crater and have a chance to spot the most famous big five animal black rhino and more species of animals can be seen, after lunch on afternoon take a further game viewing till evening while ascent the crater and drive outside the Ngorongoro conservation to Karatu.

Day 5: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive and in the afternoon; drive back to Arusha for your drop off at the lodge or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to your other destination or back home.

Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have

been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of

these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt

of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.
